What The Practice Can Offer You
The practice is not all about Sports physiotherapy.
After all, a sports injury is only an injury which needed fixing yesterday!
It offers treatment for most conditions which the general public
suffer with from time to time.
For example the painful shoulder or knee pain that appears without any specific injury and which shows little or no swelling.
Or the ever occurring low back pain which might come on after say, gardening, lifting or golf and which gets short shrift or take months to get you to the NHS.
The ache up your neck after traveling or quite commonly for no apparent reason,
which has been slowly getting worse for ages.
The whiplash injury so common these days.
Similarly the inexplicable tennis elbow, in other words pain on the outside of the elbow which , surprisingly I alone and no one else acquired actually playing tennis!
Headaches, sprained ankles, knees, arthritic hips, pulled muscles, trapped nerves to name a few.
But, if you’re in doubt as to whether we can help - pick up the phone.
It’s very unlikely you’ll get an answering machine - you’ll speak to someone and probably get some useful advice.
Service principles of the practice are…
Expedite a return to work and sport.
Encourage patient participation in their recovery.
Liaise with doctors as necessary or required.
Maintain patient records.
